Hi All -

I wanted to give you all a "heads up" on an expedition I'll be taking. I
will be portable in KH6 during the CQ World Wide DX Phone Contest. The
contest starts on Friday night, October 25th at 7:00 pm (Central) and runs
until Sunday night, October 27th at 6:00 pm (Central).

I'll be on Maui at SeaQMaui (the home of KH6SQ). I'll be operating
single-operator low power all-band. I'll be running a Yaesu FT1000 for a rig
and the antennas are as follows:
TH7DXX & A4S tribanders
40-2CD 2 element 40M beam
Sloper for 80M
Dipole on 160M

I'm pretty confident I'll have a good signal into the midwest on 10-15-20-40.
80M and 160M will be tough but I think we can do it.

I thought I'd get the word out in case someone needs Hawaii for WAS or DXCC.
I've got the cards being made right now so I'll be good for a QSL. Watch the
DX clusters to see where I am at (or post me if you hear me). I suspect I'll
start the contest on 10M or 15M (whichever is open loudest to the US).
Sorry, no 6M is going with.

73 & Hope to work you all!
