[NLRS] Rover semantics....

Hi:

Somebody just yanked my chain over my use of the word "rovering" on the CSVHFS Conf2002
web-page. They said the proper word is "roving". Well, I quibbled. I've rovered and
roved since 1991 and have activated 76 grids so far and throughout the over 10 years of
talking about it, I've always used both words interchangeably. The guy correcting me
cites Merriam Webster on-line dictionary as not having "rovering" while having "roving".
Have any of you ever felt that one word was correct while the other was not? Have you
thought a speaker or writer ignorant for using one of the spellings/usages?

Cleary, I'm fishing for confirmation that "it just doesn't matter". But if some of you
have the differing point of view, I'd be glad to hear it and maybe this rovering dog would
have to learn a new trick.
