Hi Jon,
I finished testing with Gary (W0GHZ) about 8:45 this evening.
I could here him just fine, He could not here me at all.
I thought I had a transverter with a common tx/rx receive port. I
learned that I have separate TR and RX ports on the transverter which
is actually a good thing since I have a 2318PA amplifier to use with
the transverter and I need to have separate ports to use the amp. I
had the antenna connected to the RX port and nothing connected to the
TR port since I didn't know it was actually connected.
I am going to call DEMI on Monday and order a T/R relay.
I should have all the parts together and working in time for testing
again the week before the UHF contest.
