Another vote for the NEWS Group stuff. Its a little dated, but still good
material. You'll need MSWord. If you have any problems, let me know, and
I'll get you hard copies, etc.
The same site is also good for grid square maps, etc., which are useful for
VHF+ work, and HF'ers may not be familiar with.
Also check out G3SEKs "Amateur Radio Technical Notebook"
(http://www.ifwtech.com/g3sek/) and the section on VHF-DX. Talks about
stacking antennas, etc. Good material.
