With those outstanding January VHF contest propagation conditions that we
had last weekend, I am expecting that everyone's States Above totals will
be soaring this month !!! OK, so I am a bit cynical at times.

Here are the current CSVHF NLRS States Above standings. I have recent
input from W7XU, K0AWU, and W0ZQ.

Please send me your States Above updates by Wednesday, January 30th, I will
post the updated totals.

If you are a NLRS member and are not as yet playing in the States Above
event, now is the time to jump in! This operating event runs continuously
from 1-July-2001 to 30-June-2002. The object is to work as many States as
possible on the bands above 50 MHz. QSL cards are not required. The
goal is to promote activity, and, oh ya, to have some fun along the way.
Work 30 States, submit your score to the CSVHF Society come the end of June
(I can help you with this), and receive a nice certificate. Mine from last
year looks outstanding in my shack. Check out the Central States website
at http://www.csvhfs.org for full details.
