Hi everyone, I will be out for the VHF contest this coming weekend (wx
permitting) I will have 6 meters thru 3456 and at least right now all bands
are working well.I will be running yagis on all bands but 222 ( 4 stacked
KB6 loops with 110 watts and 6 meters an inverted "v" fed at 11 ft and 100
watts) Will be running a little more power on 2 and will be using the
stacked loops and a 10 El yagi.
The plan is to start in southern IA at the EN20/30 grid area then north thru
EN21 stopping in central IA at the EN21/22/31/32 grid lines north to EN23/33
I will overnite in Algona then up somewhere between 6 and 7:30 AM central
and north to EN34/24 (I will hit the corner of 34) then west working my way
in and out of EN13 and EN14 in MN then into SD following the grid line
between EN14/13 as close as possible to the corner of EN04 and south to
EN03,EN02 in NE and EN01 then east thru EN11/12 into IA and home. I will try
to make the EN02/11/12 if time permits. Of course this is all subject to
change if the WX does not cooperate.
As always I will try to listen as much as possible on 144.160 but usually
end up with the multitudes on or around 200. I will at least qsy there to
run the other bands.
Hope to cu all this weekend
