Hi Gang:

While building my quarterly E-newsletter for CSVHFS, K5TR submitted to me some interesting
links. One of them was about the HC8N Galapagos DX expedition. On the site he has sound
files (.mp3 as I recall) that you can download and listen to in Media Player or your
favorite mp3 player. The sound files are speaker audio of the radio there in HC8N. You
can't here the op speaking but you can hear all the stateside Q's. The HC8N website is at
http:// www.tcnc.com/hc8n-6m-nov2001/

Well I only downloaded one Nov 21, 2001 - 1300Z (Mostly US) and listened to it while I did
other computer work. I think it lasted 30 or 45 minutes. Well, I heard lots of upper
midwest calls in there like K0SQ and N0UK and WA2HFI as I recall. So, if you want to hear
what the ops sounded like to the DX, check into this.

I just noticed that some of my links on the E-newsletter did not work so I went in and
fixed them. They seem to be up now.

Oh, the E-newsletter is at http://w9fz.com/csvhfs/news401/index.html
