[NJARC] Building a B Battery for a portable

I've seen them written both ways, wasn't sure which one was right.

I figured they would have more mAh than coin cells, I guess I was wrong!

still might be useful in some situations. I'd planned to build a battery for a vintage zenith hearing aid with them, but that only needed to be 22 volts, so much less work required.

Matt,

I think that might be A23. Could be workable. They're cheap enough. However the capacity is only about 55 mAh, so a 10-20 mA radio will eat them pretty quickly.

Your making me think about a one-tube reflex using a sub-mini tube, in a matchbox.

YMMV,
Al

All,

What about the 23A cells? They are the 12 volt cells that are like 3/4 (or maybe 2/3rd? maybe that's the origin of the number?) of an AAA battery in length. They fit the "N" size battery holder.
