[NJARC] Transistor Radio Volume

Will someone give me some advice on the volume control of my Zenith royal
780.
When it is turned on it comes on at full volume and the volume can not be
turned down.  I replaced the on-off volume control knob, but it still did
the same thing with a different volume control knob.

Any ideas?
