Problems so far:

No convenient way to mount the sucker.  I think I'll hot-melt glue it to something.
Hard to get sufficient drive to achieve full modulation from some mobile devices.
Need to monitor off the air to set up input level.

Frequency response (pre-emphasis) seem to be OK.  There is a switchable option supporting two frequency ranges, and I suspect they switch pre-emphasis accordingly.

In Chinglish: Closed campus radio87.0MHz-108.0MHz, open campus radio76.0MHz-108.0MHz

The 76 MHZ is the Japanese standard.  That should be 50uS preemp.

All of the lower priced FM transmitters I've seen are set for 50 us pre-emphasis, not 75 as used in this country resulting is a loss of highs.  Depending on your requirements, this may not be an issue.

I purchased two low power FM transmitters for re-broadcasting XM and the music channel from my cable TV around the house.  Turning up the treble on the receive end helps, but I'd still like to be able to reset the pre-emphasis.  With my two transmitters, this is not easily accomplished.

A "Pause" button on a FM transmitter??

All that being said, if you're putting together a bulk order, I'll go for one too.  Can never have too much stuff!  Thaks AL.

I've been frustrated by the comparatively poor performance of tube-based FM radios for a long time.  This is especially true in fringe areas, like the Museum.   The Atlantic Highlands lie between us and the Empire State building, about a 50 mile path.  Our Fisher Model 90 on a 4-element Yagi is just starting to hear WBGO acceptably, now that the leaves are coming off the trees.  So I want to provide a local signal with appropriate programming.

Found these on E-bay:

About 30 mW out., stereo,  pretty much broadcast quality, covers the house will with a 25-inch whip, runs off a PC or mobile device with on a single USB connection for audio and power.

There are some tricks.
