Bill and The Gang,

I was mostly trying to stimulate discussion, not go into business. I
guess a group buy might be possible, but would have to be a couple of
buck more to cover inevitable  left overs.   Might also get some
micro-USB and 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cables if folks don't have them.
Feedback needed!

The unit I have is: HERE

There is some almost understandable tech info HERE

*Problems so far:*

No convenient way to mount the sucker.  I think I'll hot-melt glue it to
something.
Hard to get sufficient drive to achieve full modulation from some mobile
devices.
Need to monitor off the air to set up input level.

*Bill;*

Frequency response (pre-emphasis) seem to be OK.  There is a switchable
option supporting two frequency ranges, and I suspect they switch
pre-emphasis accordingly.

In Chinglish:Closed campus radio87.0MHz-108.0MHz, open campus
radio76.0MHz-108.0MHz

The 76 MHZ is the Japanese standard.  That should be 50uS preemp.

What else?

Al
