[NJARC] Bring back FM!

I'm confused.Is the article referring to the FM broadcast radio band or the old AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System) that was abandoned many years ago?  It seems that the article is referring to both since the 1982 Walkman is obviously not a cell phone.  Me thinks the author of the article doesn't know the difference!Jim
