[NJARC] DTV Reception Map

Recently at BJ's I saw 2 or 3 DTV antennas for sale. Up here in Maine, between Bangor and Portland, I'm about 50 miles or so from any antenna and my neighbors don't seem to have much luck with reception. Although, on the other hand, they're not using a dtv antenna. Just the same, I've been considering giving it a try to get off of the cable. I have no interest in satellite.
What I liked about one of the selections from BJ's was the duplex antenna. It kind of reminded me of a stacked beam set side to side.
BTW... while we are on this subject, have you considered trees, buildings, and elevation? I have some elevation, it's the trees that I can't see through.

The antenna, reception and map info that I've found most useful were
from the web sites listed below. TVFool worked best for me, pretty
active forums provide one with feedback on what antenna might be the
best to use. The antenna question becomes one of availabilty as OTA
antennas are becoming a bit more scarce. Sure miss the days of
RadioShack's on every street corner (at least it seemed that way).
