[NJARC] Western Electric Capacitor Question

Yes, WECO made many custom value components. Back in the 70s I worked
in the "acceptance" group in the AT&T Long Lines Telegraph (Teletype)
group in NYC, testing newly installed central office equipment. I saw
1003 ohm _1%_ resistors, .0896 capacitors, and the weirdest value
inductors I ever saw. I still have some of the standard value
resistors, and they're still within tolerance!
Almost everything WECO made was custom. Rack panel screws were
non-standard threads, even their loose leaf binder ring spacing was non
standard!
