[NJARC] Western Electric Capacitor Question

Hi Ed,

WE made telephone equipment and made all the parts to go in to them. They didn't sell components outside the company, so there was no need to mark the value. Working there and having a few surplus parts available, I didn't bother to bring them home unless I could figure from the schematics their values. Still have a few around here.

Evidently Pete has a book noting values. Wish I had that back when.

Thanks, Pete

Now I know what I have. The flat rectangular shape and lack of standard
markings made me wonder if WE had them made for some specific
application of theirs. They are of standard values but I never saw any
other caps with this flat and rectangular shape but for these.
