Could you make me a box like that? - lol :-D
Great idea with the test leads.
I'm going to try and copy what you did for mine.
Thanks!!!

Hi All,
The first thing I did was to fabricate a set of test leads that connect
to the ZIF socket with a 14-pin header so I could measure components
that don't fit into the ZIF socket. (Pix *16, *17, *20)
Then I made up a cardboard template for a front panel, and it took
several iterations to get the placement right. (Pix *23) The target was
a Dekaware box. (Pix *26, *27)
The plane of the display is not in line with the plane of the ZIF socket
and button, so I made up a clear spacer for the panel window opening.
(Pix *33)
The biggest job was cutting the front panel to match the template.
(Pix *34) Drills, saws, files, knives, ... The handle on the ZIF socket
made things interesting!
I mounted the battery behind the board using the same mounting screws
that hold the board and clear window to the front panel. (Pix *36)
If the battery gets drained too quickly, I'll add an ON/OFF switch.
Finally I buttoned it up and tested it. (Pix *39, *41).
