Hi friends,
I was just at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and really liked the Les Paul
Exhibit. They give him a good chunk of display space and there are some of
his most significant guitars. His love of antique radios is also covered.
It was one of my favorite parts of the museum.
Techies will also appreciate the smaller display on Bob Heil, which
mentions his shared love of amateur radio with Joe Walsh. A significant
artifact related to him is a "talk box" signed by him and Peter Frampton,
who some of us will remember using that effect on "Do You Feel Like We Do".
They have a nice cafe with pretty good food at a reasonable price which
facilitates the full day that it takes to do the museum justice.
