[NJARC] Windows XP - End of support

Joe,
It's good to hear the XP End of Support date is being discussed in other publications outside of the IT realm. I have spent countless hours over the last two years of my life where I work trying to convey this message and perform actions to mitigate the risk (retire the OS, migrate applications, plan and perform upgrades, etc.). We have migrated about 90-95% of our company off of XP (20,000+ computers), but it's that last 5-10% that's the killer. Fingers crossed we accomplish our goal in time.
If any of you have the ability to upgrade your machines off of XP (especially if they are internet facing), do it soon. At the very least, get it patched, firewalled, and virus protected.
It will be interesting to see how things go on April 9th. A large portion of the world still runs on XP. Regards, Matt
