Hello Friends.

Im a newbie and so happy I found this group. Sadly, I will miss this
months meeting as Valentine's day calls. I'm excited to view the web cast
discussion on Sarnoff. Sad to miss it.

On a positive note, I had a great radio day last Friday with my new best
radio buddy Marty Friedman. What a big radio brain!! And generous with
his time. We worked my 1931 Crosley Grandfather clock radio with great
progress. This one was worked on pre war using the "fix it with what you
got" approach. Nothing matches the parts list. NEVER THE LESS we made
great progress.

We also tested and identified two other 1930s radios as great restoration
candidates. A sholdered tombstone philco and a westinghouse. What a great
day.

Sorry to miss you all at the meeting Friday.

See you soon.

Rob
