[NJARC] The Waltons' radio

Year: 1937/1938
Power type and voltage: Alternating Current supply (AC)/115 Volt

Never watched the series but for those who did, were there power lines 
visible in any scenes or were we suppose to use our imagination ;) I 
didn't look up the tube voltages but if the tubes were 6 volts or less, 
perhaps battery power would be possible. Philco did start out as a 
battery producing company but I don't know if they were still doing so 
in 1938.
