You plug in the controlling computer (or radio) to the blue outlet and then once the computer (or radio) is turned on, the green outlets turn on.  Turn off the computer (or radio) and the green outlets go off.  There is a sensitivity adjustment if needed.

The three red outlets are on all the time (not switched). Pretty cool.
