Hello All,
FWIW, I have a "ARBE III" that stands for Antique Radio Battery Eliminator power supply sold through various places on the internet. It works very well. It supplies A/B/C voltages and has an adjustment for varing your A supply to accomodate a variety of filament voltages.
It easily powers up a 6 tube "Treee-Dialer" type of TRF set and a variety of other battery type sets.
The above is just a FYI:. You can build something very similar with parts around the shaque for a LOT LESS money.
There's always the "Dollar Store B Eliminator" that consists of 10 9v batteries connected end to end for 90V output and a appropriate amount of 1.5Vdc "D" cells connected in series for a "A" supply.
