In reply to Alex Magoun's question about the mirror-lid TV, Classic TVx by Scott Wood shows it to be a Sparton 4900 from 1949. When I was a kid, some friends of ours had one and wanted to use the cabinet for a liquor chest. They let me remove the guts. Unfortunately I was never able to get it to work. I distinctly remember it using a 10BP4 CRT. Dave
