I just finished digitization and restoration work on the first of two tapes
related to Camp Evans history that were recently acquired by InfoAge.
The recording is available at
http://www.archive.org/details/RadioItsWonderful

The tape contains a transcription recording of a radio program "Radio, It's
Wonderful" featuring an interview with a Col. Janes discussing historic
(Project Diana) and current (as of 1956) Signal Corps research work at Camp
Evans.

This is fantastic stuff, well worth a listen!

The second tape contains a recording of Joseph McCarthy discussing, among
other things, his discovery of Communist spys working at Camp Evans and a
recording of former President Harry Truman rebutting charges made against
him by McCarthy. Side 2 of the tape contains a recording of a radio play
about McCarthy. I'll post that one as soon as it's ready.
