Does anyone have any info on this subject, or know some WOR old timers?

My name is Peter Ciliberto, I am a Civil Engineer working on the 
reconstruction of a park in Carteret, NJ.  As part of the project we are 
looking to place informational signs throughout the site discussing the 
history of the site.  From the 1930's to 1968 the site was home to WOR 
AM radio station.  The site consisted of twin 350' high towers to create 
a directional array for the station, which served New York, Trenton and 
Philadelphia.

As part of a display we were looking to include some knowledge regarding 
the history of the site and the use of the directional array.

Based on your knowledge of radio, would you be able to help.
