Hi All,
I have used Ready-Strip with good results on some Navy equipment that had paint on nomenclature tags and spatters of the wrong color on top the gray.  It worked very well, and if it works on Naval enamel, it should work on just about anything.  Maybe baked enamel is the ultimate test.

Ready-Strip is also a less nasty methylene chloride free product that I didn't mind using in my garage under my living space.
