Hi all,
Ran across some information on the web attributed to a "Tom P." from a
Colorado radio club that is using a 1N34 diode, some resistors, etc to
salvage 01A's by removing the glass envelope and soldering it into the base
on the correct pins.  I have a schematic of it, if anyone is interested.
