MPJA.com last month has 120 watt 8 ohm resistors for sale for $2.99 each. I purchased 4 of them

Before we leave this subject, I wanted to mention that while I was buying those

10-ohm (not 12-ohm) resistors for my pal Marty, I also picked up a couple more

8-ohm, 20-watt non-inductive resistors. These are very useful as "dummy loads"

for audio work. You might want to see if your local Radio Shack still has them.

Only $2.49 each, and well worth it -- you can drive the heck out of an audio amp

while testing or troubleshooting, without damaging your ears by using a speaker.
