I too would be concerned about the stability, accuracy and longevity of 
electrolytics in a non-filtering critical value application.  But what about 
oil filled units? They should be stable, have long life and space should not 
be a problem in large speaker applications.  I have a large stock and have 
seen them go begging at ham fleas.  If you need a critical value, trim out a 
parallel set up with lower value poyester units.
