[NJARC] non-Polarized Capacitors

Another note on non polarized speaker crossover caps... On more than one  
occasion I have found these shorted or drifted so badly, that they change the 
 crossover curve. Not only does it affect the sound, but in some instances, 
it  can allow low frequency to get to the tweeter and will burn out the 
tweeter  voice coil. I have seen it happen more than once! Basically, its a 
good idea to  change these things after 40+ years!
