I agree Tom, I find nothing wrong with the auctions. I don't deal with EBay anymore. Just feel the Infoage site would be better...

  Hi All,
  the reality is that in the warmer months with all the shore traffic it will be very difficult to get to.  And I think that would discourage a lot of members from attending.  Perhaps we could find an alternate during those months? Also what happens at the dirt parking lots during the winter months when they are snowed over at Infoage?  
  I see nothing wrong with the auctions.  I notice that whenever there is an auction there is a bigger crowd.  The club, members, and sellers all benefit from the money generated at these sales.  As for EBay, I am totally against it.  Since that will bring in outside bidders who are not members, etc.  And the auctions at this point are somewhat of a benefit to club members who are trying to expand thier collections without paying outrageous Ebay prices.  Also note that EBay has changed its selling policy.  If a buyer changes their mind, they can claim anything and the seller would be forced to refund the money via PayPal for the most part and incur the shipping and handing expenses.  So unless the club really wants to get into the business of selling radios, packing them, and then getting returns, restocking them, and keeping track of all those expenses I think not.
