[NJARC] Meetings

Hi All,

It's too bad this thread started with a heavy dose of negativity, but a good discussion.
Sarnoff has been great, though I am biased because I am relatively close (30 min.)
InfoAge has a similar historical vibe. Travelling there is a little bit of a drag, as half of its "sphere of influence" is ocean, but I am willing to suck it up.

I have a love/hate relationship with the auctions. I love it when I find something I need(want, really) for my collection. I hate it when its a whole bunch of stuff I'm not intererested in, but then I usually just skip the meeting.

I'm fairly skeptical about the selling stuff on ebay thing. I guess its ok if there are a bunch of people who are enthusiastic about helping. I'm not one of them. Having a big club table at swap meets another way of shedding stuff. The best way to shed stuff is to avoid getting it in the first place, but I know sometimes with estates you have to take the skim to get the cream.
