[NJARC] KC2UAK makes contact!

Hi Folks,

Late last night -- about 2 AM -- I worked W1IA in Derry, NH. Brent has a *tremendous* signal, using an HB solid-state Class E rig (whatever class E is) using power MOSFETS.

This was my first AM contact -- and my first HF *voice* contact.

I was using the early 70's Novice Dream Station: DX-60B xmitter, HG-10B VFO, HR-10B receiver. So under ideal conditions, I *can* be heard outside of the confines of my back yard!

A better antenna next Spring will help a lot.
