[NJARC] Unfathomable amount of radios for sale

Of more interest perhaps is the Dean Lake auction advertised in the
latest ARC. This is in Tampa FL; consists of a 3500 sq. ft. warehouse
full of radios etc., pictures indicate that it is well above the quality
of the NY State sale and it will go as ONE lot to the highest bidder on
Feb. 28th!! And you only get to preview it for a few hours on the
morning of the sale. Who is this guy Dean Lake; anybody have any
information? Supposed to be more pictures on web site but they are not
up yet. You may ask why would anyone sell it as one lot when
theoretically you could get much more $ selling it off in pieces?
Methinks there is chicanery afoot here like maybe a sheriffs sale to
resolve a foreclosure or something. The lien holder could bid to buy
the whole thing and then sell it off in pieces and make more $. What
auctioneer worth his salt would agree to this unless he was forced to
since he would make more breaking it up? Anybody for renting a semi and
taking a ride to sunny Florida?
