There is probably a good reason why the wires are pulled loose from the
filter cap. It is or will be bad. You're probably better off cutting
or unhooking all the wires from the filter and wire in three
electrolytics under the chassis. Seems the most common value is 10mfd
at 450 or 500 VDC. Use three of them and following the Rider schematic,
the + side is up and the neg. side at the bottom of the schematic.
Any other comments or suggestions?
