What a great night!
I had fun sharing my enthusiasm for the RBB with everyone, and also trying the other sets.
Al and I were worried that no one was going to bring radios but that was certainly not the case.
I have never messed with loops much and I was underwhelmed by their ability to null stations in the building there. At the military table there was a lot of steel and I'm sure the equipment racks didn't help any. However, now I am further motivated to get a loop outdoors on one of the TV rotors I have to see how it can do. I think there the limitation may be the ability to point precisely enough.
A funny coincidence happened in the morning when Ted W3PWW, net control of the Old Military Radio Net, asked if anyone ever heard a time signal on 570kc and if they knew what it was.
Thanks to all who brought radios and especially to Al for setting up all those feedlines etc.
