Obsolete? IMHO I don't think so. Certainly not technical obsolete. No more 
than FM stereo made FM obsolete. No more than FM made AM obsolete. No more 
than the flourescent lightbulb make the incandescent lightbulb obsolete. 
They'll always be something something on analog transmission, simply because 
it is there as a medium. Now programming - that's a different matter, as we 
all know. But then again, it has been that way for years already.
