Hi John,
Just got back from the AWA Carolina Chapter spring meet in Charlotte, NC.
It was a great show and my wife actually joined me and helped me fill the car
with radios! They had a huge auction which started at about 2pm Friday and didn't
end until 10pm that night. The big item was a Deforest '15 panel' that went for
$15,500!!!!
Anyway, to answer your question, here is the text from the constitution.

In June every two years, the membership shall elect seven members in good standing to the office of President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-arms / Steward, Technical Coordinator and Trustee. The new President will then upon taking office, name one Trustee and if in order, the outgoing President will become a Trustee until the new President leaves office.

Now here is where it gets complicated. If we look at the trustees,
Gary D'Amico was named by the current President. So the new President will be naming someone. If Gary is not named, his term would be over.
Marty Friedman was named trustee by the exec board when the President leaving office (Jim Whartenby) moved out west.
Marty stepped down from this position a few years ago and John Ruccolo was named to the position by the exec board. The President leaving office will be taking this trustee
position so John's term will be over.
Ray Chase was voted into his trustee position which will be over in July.
So that means all 3 existing trustees will be leaving their office and the following will take place.
Trustee #1 (President leaving office) Phil Vourtsis
Trustee #2 (will be named by new President)
Trustee #3 (must be nominated and elected)

Hope this helps and doesn't ignite any flames.

Phil Vourtsis
Pres.- NJARC
