[NJARC] DC Power in NYC?

I wish I would have known NYC still had DC power! I could have brought my
"TCO" and plugged it into someones DC wall socket. It runs off of 110VDC
with a dynamotor DC to AC inverter just to power the receiver!

I'm glad I rigged up a 120VAC to 120VDC diode bridge for
it...................

Fascinating info about DC and NYC. I've really enjoyed the thread.

Anyone with a large ocean going vessel with 110VDC power who needs reliable
inter-harbor or long distance HF Maritime communications, please contact Rob
Flory, K2WI or myself. Liberty Ships receive a 10% discount!

Mod-U-Later,
                     Joe N3IBX
