I kinda figured the converter would have a tuner in it. Im hoping the deep 
fringe arial I put up a few years back will be good for digital. We used to get 
by with a simple rafter mounted arial while the trade center was standing, but 
after 9-11 we became "fringe" and I put up a very high gain wingard arial. 
All this because the local cable company requires a cable box for EACH set even 
for the local channels (which they charge $15 per month for! Talk about 
ripoff! So, all but one TV is recieving broadcast.
