Sounds like a fun project.
Since you are planning to restripe, a base coat of the correct color is
just one more step in the process. I can supply all of the resistors
and even select for the values you specify. But when you solder them
into the circuit, that value will change. This is just one of the many
minor problems with carbon composition resistors.
