Set up a download folder on your computer then click on the Download 
link.  You're going to download the latest version 4.10.

1) First download "TUCOWS Worldwide Network - Download IrfanView"

2) Second download "TUCOWS Worldwide Network - Download IrfanView plugins"

[TUCOWS is a safe Freeware program web site.  I've used this site for 
many programs over the years without problems.]

After you've downloaded both IrfanView and Plugins double click on 
irfanview first to install it.  Take all the defaults. [One default 
asks if your want to use the program for associations for all your 
photo (photos only) viewing - you can say yes (I did) or no. ]  Next 
double click on plugins and install this.  [The pugins allow the 
program to view almost every type of photo or graphic file ever made, 
it's great]
