Hello All,
My wife Jocelyn and I have been deliberating about what gift(s) to bring along to the Holiday Party, in order to participate in the auction. I was told by a NJARC member to bring something that is worth around $20, but it doesn't necessarily have to be radio related. I explained to her that I thought a radio related items would be appreciated, since it's the nature of our great club in the first place. I could most likely scare up a few radio related items that I could box up; so the two of us could participate in the particular festivity.
My lovely understanding wife mentioned that some of the members' spouses and children wouldn't necessarily want a radio type gift, since they may not be into radio like their NJARC member spouse or father.
Could someone please let me know the protocol on gift giving at the auction? I for one, would like something radio related, but my wife would not. If someone donates a #50 tube with good emission that she happens to receive; I'll try to convince her to keep it if nobody else claims it. Even if it's in a non globe, ST/coke bottle type glass envelope!
Any information will be appreciated.
Mod-U-Later,
Joe Cro N3IBX
