[NJARC] Uncle Bill Henderson's Radios :) :) :)

Scott,
If you enjoy your BC-348 rx, you NEED it's matching transmitter,
namely the autotune "ART-13". It uses a single 813 modulated by a pair of
811's. The original DY12 dynamotor would be great to have as it's power
supply, but you can whip up a 28V/1250V supply that would work FB. Both the
BC-348 and ART-13 were standard equipment in the famous B-29 "flying
fortress". If you'd like to see one in operation, let me know and you're
welcome to stop over and do so, and get a "gander" at the homebrew supply I
use with it. Everything is built into a mechanics tool cart, including all
of the meters.

Once you get "bit" with playing with a ART-13, you'll be hooked. Think of
having a medium power AM/CW/MCW (modulated CW) 100W+ class rig that you can
preset everything from loading and tune, down to the frequency. All you do
is flaick a switch and within 24 seconds (per milspec) you'll be ready to
modulate the aether!

Mod-U-Later, and keep on having fun with stuff that glows!

             Joe Cro N3IBX
