Scott,
Declare you existing antenna as your "reference antenna." Try something
else. Arrange an A-B switch so you can compare to the "reference" and
see if you're making progress.
My old original antenna presentations are here:
http://www.njarc.org/websitearchives.htm and I think the presentation
from last month is supposed to show up somewhere as well.
