Hi Rich,
I'll you bring you a couple of disks tonight, just in
case one is bad. I have no way to test them (I have a
non-working player), so you can keep them as long as
you need them.
Sharkey's MAchine was some kind of Burt Reynolds
action movie, I think. Not exactly highbrow cinema. It
was my test disk.
What's amazing about CED's is that 1) they were not
digital, and 2) they were not optical. It was
basically a very high-speed phonograph record! No
wonder RCA almost went bankrupt with that thing! I
don't really know that much about them, and I don't
mean to knock RCA, considering we have an expert who
is a member of this reflector. Sorry, Alex! ;-)
