[NJARC] disabled short wave

   During WWII,repairman(and woman) were told to disable the short-
 wave bands on radios brought in for repair by people who immigrated
 from Japan,Germany,Italy,etc.This was at a time the government
 was concerned about "fifth collums" or spies from abroad using 
 these radios to receive messages.Like Al,I have found everything
 from missing coils to wires disconnected.
