[NJARC] Variac Isolation Transformer

One higher priced option is a company called Staco. They have a line of
bench supplies that provide a isolated variable AC output. They do this with
a two winding variable transformer, i.e. an isolated variac.

The supplies in question have a white AC outlet on the front panel marked
"isolated" 0-140 VAC. They also have a set of red and black terminals which
supply DC 0-140 up to the rated amperage of the unit although you can only
use AC or DC at a given time. Mine is a model number EJ901 which has a 9 Amp
output. I have seen other units in other output ranges.
