I had gotten that sense that I was getting lost. It is like Hotel California, "you can check out any time you like but you can never leave."

Well that is the sad part of the story. The set was turned on but not with as variac. It was not me but the previous owner. It smoked a bit but not too bad. And this reminds me.

I am building up my equipment but by now I need to find a place to buy a power isolation transformer and a variac. But other than that I have all I need. I have been looking around the web a bit and just want something good.
