Hi Rich,
I can't answer your question, but I would like to
offer a comment.
I have the identical radio, and inside the back cover
is the ominous disclaimer: "CONTAINS SOME JAPANESE
PARTS".
UH-OH -- that flushing sound you hear was the American
consumer electronics industry going down the drain.
